Our Team

Garrison is the Founder & CEO of Wailes Capital and has spent his career working with education, healthcare, and business services companies and entrepreneurs. 

 

Prior to founding Wailes Capital, Garrison worked under the CEO at Spanish Schoolhouse, North America's largest Spanish immersion early childhood education provider.  He previously worked as an investment professional at The Vistria Group where he invested in and grew mission-driven organizations across education, healthcare, software and services industries.  Prior to Vistria, Garrison worked in investment banking at William Blair & Company and M&A at Accenture.  Garrison is also a co-founder and investor in the Cornell Watch Company, a revitalization of one of America's oldest watchmakers.

Garrison has been a Board member and advisor of Uniting Voices Chicago, iMentor, the Houston Area Urban League, UChicago Texas Alumni Board, Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), and Sponsors for Educational Opportunities (SEO).  He is an honors graduate of The University of Chicago (B.A.) and Harvard Business School (M.B.A.).

 

Garrison is a proud Texan and currently lives in Houston with his wife and daughter.
